ABC Program Specialist – Social Worker

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of ABC Program Specialist – Social Worker in the Center for Healthy Communities.
Primary Job Duties: The ABC Program Specialist will provide supervision to MSW Interns who serve as Parent Coaches and will be responsible for program and model implementation.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in MSW and 3-5 years’ experience, 2 years post-MSW practice experience. Current Maryland Social Work License (LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C).
Knowledge of field supervision techniques and field placement expectations for MSW students, practice experience on the Lower Shore of Maryland and knowledge of area resources for the early childhood population, experience in providing services within a “host” setting and ability to verbalize the difficulties of working as a “guest” within an organization.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
This is a full-time, exempt, Contingent II (contractual), position with a limited benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, paid leave, tuition remission and more. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
