We want to ensure the highest data quality is achieved by working with business leaders to define roadmaps and business KPIs, and remediation strategies to support data consumers and producers, improving the efficiency, increasing the profitability and lowering business risks.The manager over this team oversees the enterprise data quality program which includes:– Ownership of the DQ rules catalog– Enabling a successful data quality user experience– Management of data quality remediation modelsAs a data quality business analyst (Functional) you will be responsible for completing the following tasks:– Requirements gathering and analysis with clear documentation to support business needs– Facilitating requirements gathering from one-one interviews through to workshops– Identifying business requirements including and not limited to:-Rules catalog– Data Elements required for DQ– Minimum system integration required for DQ– Remediation insights, including business knowledge for rules– DQ Insights– DQ Issue tracking, rule development and modification ticketing system– UAT of product build– Creating DQ playbook and guidelines– Support DQ user experience Skills: Data quality, Quality assurance, Business analysis, Analysis, Data analysis, requirements gathering, user stories, Agile, Data validation Top Skills Details: 1.
3+ years experience as Business Analyst, working with Data, (gathering requirements, translating business specs into technical requirements)2.
Assist in defining user stories and ensure the appropriate testing is being done3.
Superior communication skills and ability to work independently.
The manager is fairly hands off and expects someone to run at their own pace, ask the appropriate questions and execute under minimal supervision**No prior data governance experience required for this role.
The manager would expect a BA to pick up on the nuances of Data Governance.** Additional Skills & Qualifications: Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience• 3-5 years’ experience with business analyst related activities including gathering and developing comprehensive business requirements with proven delivery of a successful product build• Advanced excel and SQL skills• You have superior analytical and problem solving skills, knowing how to effectively create user stories, lead discovery workshops and facilitate discussions.• Able to work with large amount of data to compare current workflow/process/procedure map into changes• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Management, MIS, Law, Finance, Computer Science or related fields;• Experience working across large cross-functional teams across multiple regions• Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders with varying within different levels of the organization• Experience with data quality tools and systems will be highly regardedSkills• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
Strong group facilitation skills; ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of stakeholders• Good understanding of data quality management.
Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes.• Knowledge of data management in a global environment, including data lifecycle and maintenance processes.• Ability to work well under deadlines, ability to work in a multi-tasking production environment to make good judgments about competing priorities.
