The purpose of the US Commercial Application team is to grow billed business acquired by accelerating the completed applications for our digital prospect and customer application journeys.
The team develops digital products for both our self-directed (i.e.
web/mobile) and assisted (face to face and telemarketing) journeys, combining excellent customer experience and compelling features and functionality.The US Commercial Application team partners closely with colleagues across Domestic & 22 international markets, and the Blue-Box to drive growth and market place differentiation for GCSG.
The US Commercial Application Experience is an industry leading short form initiative for current customers to upgrade their accounts and add additional accounts in both the consumer and small business space.In this role, the analyst will support product development by analyzing market processes, assisting in providing requirements for new features, and be responsible for providing insightful analysis and ad-hoc reporting to identify optimization opportunities.
The analyst will partner closely with local market acquisition teams, Central capabilities and marketing teams, and Technology to ensure efficient delivery of the product backlog. Job Responsibilities Provide support for and/or lead core development projects within the US Commercial Application Support requirement gathering and the creation of agile user stories and acceptance criteria Support scrum team planning and story prioritization of the product backlog on a daily basis Lead critical postlaunch analysis for the team’s core product releases, testing, and ongoing product performance and optimization Partner closely with engineering and design to continuously optimize the UI/UX of application experiences Partner closely with marketing stakeholders to understand the business needs and provide ongoing updates on key work in progress Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required Digital product development experience Highly organized, detail oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple work flows Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data, extracting key themes and messages to drive decisions Able to effectively adapt under changing conditions and prioritize initiatives in a fastpaced environment Strong relationship management and problemsolving skills Understanding of Agile principles an experience working in Scrum Hardworking, self-motivated and strong willingness to learn and make an impact Curious and passionate about product, creating customer experiences and working with technology Preferred Additional Skills/Qualifications Preferred 2+ years of digital product development experience Familiarity with basic UX/UI principles and Responsive Web Design (RWD) Experience in matrix organizations and crossfunctional environments Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Adobe Omniture, & TeaLeaf a strong plus Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S.
