Candidates must be self-starters with expert linguistic and grammar skills.nn nn n nn nn Major Responsibilities nn nn n nn Generate engaging content for external promotional materials and internal communications Write content for traditional and digital mediums, including landing pages, blogs, emails, social media posts, scripts, marketing slicks, display ads, billboards, and more Stay up to date with current culture and B2B Marketing trends Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and product lines Interview Subject Matter Experts, research topics, and write thought leadership pieces (blog posts, white papers, infographics, etc.) for mass distribution Plan, develop, and produce high-engagement social media content that reflects our brand’s voice and drives traffic to the website Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to Cotton’s various websites Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines Collaborate with Marketing team, external agencies, and Business Development to develop a variety of content marketing materials Proofread and revise content created by other members of the organization or external agencies Collaborate with the Marketing department to strengthen the suite of Cotton brands through strong content that builds understanding and drives results Ensures that content is tailored to target audience segments while staying consistent to brand standards and voice nn n nn nn n nn nn Background Requirements: nn nn n nn Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing or equivalent preferred but not required.
nn n nn nn Experience: nn nn n nn 3-5 years of copywriting experience Experience in producing copy for digital, print, and broadcast channels Familiar with writing and managing content for multiple clients Adeptness in copyediting and proofreading Knowledge of AP style guidelines Agency experience a plus Knowledge of B2B sales and marketing Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills Excellent communication skills Strong analytical, planning, and storytelling skills Experience with script writing, research, and interviews Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities nn n nn nn n nn nn Knowledge and Skills: nn nn n nn Proficient in Windows and Macintosh platforms.
