Active listening to determine the member’s or potential member’s needs. Representing and educating members and potential members on all products and services offered at ACUTX.Please note this position is a part-time 30-35 HOUR position within our call-center. Spanish speaking Preferred. The hours of operation for our Member Access Center is Monday-Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. Job Duties1. Assist members with account inquiries and resolve member issues without transferring call unless inquiry is outside of call center capabilities or scope. 2. Provide excellent service to our members utilizing Account Cross Sell in Symitar, which qualifies members for products or services available through ACUTX.3. Provide routine information concerning credit union services or policies, including: eligibility for membership, how to apply for membership, type of accounts available, loan policies, and interest rates for loans, location of the office(s), office hours, directions and telephone services. 4. Provide and explain account history and balance and process account transactions including transfers and loan payments at member’s request. 5. Perform any account maintenance per member’s authorization. Maintenance to include address changes, name changes, and any other account changes per member’s authorization. 6. Process member check orders via online check order software.7. Promptly answer and respond to online chats, tickets, and other electronic communication channels.8. Refer any loan applications or inquiries through appropriate channels.9. Assist Collections Department in collecting on delinquent loans by researching cause of delinquency and correcting the problem to bring loan current.10. Assist members with all electronic services which include online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, remote deposit, smart pay and others. 11. Process check/card by phone payments.12. Assist members with credit card and debit card issues and questions. Assist members with reporting disputes and fraud on account, debit card, or credit card. 13. Assist members with incoming and outgoing wires. 14. Determine eligibility for loan skip-a-pay and processing skip. 15. Assist with onboarding new members via Join Now. 16. Perform any back office duties as assigned. 17. Keep current in knowledge of credit union processes and standards by studying pay day updates and taking procedure quizzes promptly.QualificationsEducation/Certifications/ LicensesA high school diploma.ExperienceTwo to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.Interpersonal SkillsA significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position.
