This position will report within the Financial Planning and Analysis team and will work with FP&A and Finance leadership in forecasting, analysis and reporting, budgeting and other activities as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Forecasting and Annual Planning
Prepares the monthly forecasts and all related reconciliations and reports
Maintains the Cognos system and makes day to day changes in the model
Gives annual planning training to clinical and administrative users and provides them with support
Works with FP&A leadership on the vision for our deliverables, our financial systems, our data integrity and availability, and on automation and streamlining of analysis and reporting
Produces monthly reporting and many other deliverables
Becomes adept at using our various systems
Participates in special projects as assigned, for example: developing new features for our existing systems, and tracking our spending on special projects such as our COVID response.
Education Bachelors degree in a quantitative and analytical field is required.
Examples of desired majors include: Accounting, Economics, or Healthcare Administration.
Other qualifications such as an MBA, MHA, CPA, or CHFP are desirable.
Experience Two years of progressive experience in a financial analysis role is preferred, with demonstrated ability to successfully complete analyses without extensive supervision.
Healthcare experience in a large physicians group or hospital is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft software, Excel in particular, is required.
Experience with Cognos TM1/Analytics, Hyperion, Strata, KH, or similar financial systems is strongly preferred, as is experience with data analysis and visualization applications such as Microsoft BI or Tableau.
