Healthcare Clinical Transformation Specialist – Managing Consultant

Understanding how to effectively support individuals throughout an organization via a structured approach to change management is key to reaching organizational success.You will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Specific responsibilities include:Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and aboveIdentify, plan for and resolve complex client issuesIdentify and manage project risks around scope, schedule, budget, and qualityContribute to the development of your own team’s technical acumenDevelop strategies to solve complex technical and structural challenges, addressing business process redesignTrain, mentor, and lead staff, possibly on a remote basis, to enhance recruitment and retention effortsGuide client conversations towards effective outcomes**POSITION REQUIRES UP RO 50-75% TRAVEL**QualificationsRequired: Minimum of 5 years of organizational change management and/or business process redesign experience, preferably in a clinical environmentMinimum of Bachelor’s Degree required.
Master’s Degree preferredConsulting experience strongly preferredPreferred Knowledge/Skills:Physician practice / hospital operations subject matter specialization in client engagements related to improving the efficienciesTrack records of success in using data analytics to identify opportunities and solutionsAbility to engage clinicians in driving sustainable cultural and organizational changeHealthcare IT consulting experienceClinical and hospital operations acumenHealthcare workflow impact analysisCerner Millenium solution knowledgeDemonstrates a proven record of success in the following areas:Building and maintaining networks of client relationshipsManaging resource requirements, project workflows, budgets, billing, and collectionsPreparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materialsUtilizing applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project to create deliverables for existing clientsDesigning and developing data analysis and analytical tools to identify opportunities and build cases for change Communicating value propositions and articulating overall impact of proposed actionsDeveloping strong rapport with client clinical and executive leadershipEffectively communicating with clinicians to build an atmosphere of trust and solicit active participation in initiativesSupervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovationAnswering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staffCoaching staff, including providing timely, meaningful written and verbal feedbackDeveloping, writing, presenting, and facilitating discussions on strategy to al levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff and managementAdditional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.DisclaimerAbout GuidehouseGuidehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
